The trouble between the exemplary Little Red Riding Hood and the delinquent Wolfgang worsens when they leave the school grounds and Little Red finds herself confronted by the bully along the path home. Uncertain of how to deal with Wolfgang, she threatens to get him in trouble by rushing home to tell Grandmother. The exciting climax at Grandmother's house reveals that maybe there's more to this bully than Little Red might have thought.

Raven Stole the Sun & Three Tricksters

Play by Drew Hayden Taylor
Based on a traditional Tlingit story as recounted by Sháa Tláa Maria Williams
Directed by Sandra Laronde
Music by Donald Quan

Red Sky is a dynamic company shaping contemporary Aboriginal performance in dance, theatre, music, and explores the artistic landscape where world Indigenous cultures merge.  Families will be treated to two tales:

Raven Stole the Sun is the story of a fabulous and magical creature of impulse. In order to satisfy his overwhelming sense of curiosity, Raven hatches a brilliant scheme for stealing the stars, the moon, and the sun. The result is the bringing of light to the people of the world.

Three Tricksters is a contemporary tale where Raven is up to his old tricks again, but this time with some interesting company.  In an attempt to teach the sublime art of being a trickster, Raven has enlisted Spider and Coyote and teaches them everything they wanted to know about being a trickster. Three tricksters are now on the loose, and audiences should be afraid... very afraid!
