Todd the storyteller enraptures the audience with poignant tales of love and friendship. Todd is an accomplished guitarist and is a veteran contributor to CBC Radio and Television. Ballet Jörgen Canada's Romeo & Juliet - February 12, 2009, 7:30pm
Shakespeare's classic love story of Romeo & Juliet depicts the tragic tale of love, anguish and revenge. Artistic Director Bengt Jörgen has focused on principal scenes and characters in order to create a clear and emotionally driven journey while remaining true to the original story. His interpretation of this timeless classic has won international recognition and critical acclaim. Influenced by the core belief in reaching out to bring ballet to as many people as possible, Ballet Jörgen Canada travels across Canada to communities large and small. From the Canadian prairies in southern Alberta comes one of Canada’s most promising new songwriters: John Wort Hannam.
